15 kilometers from the center of Can Tho city, Banh hoi Phong Dien (fine rice vermicelli) simple village nestled under a variety of fruit trees along the numerous interleaved channel of rivers, you must take twice the boat to cross the river to go there.

When arriving, a long-line of shading bamboo appears on the left side of canal capturing your eyes, the right of the gate with the name: “Ecotourism, Banh Hoi Ut Dzach".

Phong Dien known for many types of traditional cakes and Banh Hoi Mat Vong (soft thin rice vermicelli in the shape of hammock) is one of them; from the name we are able to visualize the shape and tact in the implementation of this cake. The reason for such names as image appearance of the cake is the line crossed into each other like the mesh of hammock, as well as the combination with the tact of the baker to make an attractive product.
