And many of those boats were created through the skillful and meticulous hands of Mr Bui Van Sang, 66 years old, in Tan Luoi area, Tan Hung ward, Thot Not district.

Nearly 40 years after he built a boat, Mr. Sang did not remember how many boats he had built to help people easily move on the rivers. Not only for earning money, boat is also his passion.
Like many other crafts, boat building requires high skill, ingenuity, as well as own techniques, to create boats that are both beautiful, firm and perfectly balanced. In order to complete a boat, workers have to go through stages such as sawing, removing ink, cleaning, unshaking, curving, ballast, etc.
