Ong Dua Victory Historical Cultural Relic in Dinh Mon commune where the battle of Tay Do battalion took place and the guerrilla of Dinh Mon commune on June 6, 1960, Tay Do battalion had about 30 soldiers combined with guerrilla Dinh Mon commune, total army number is only less than 50, and divided into 03 units: 1001, 1003 and 1008 with simple weapons. The march was divided into 3 attacks: The first was a direct force from Ba Mit striking straight to Ong Dua. The second attacking, from Xeo Sao passes. The third attacking, from Ba Lang's canal. They are equipped with weapons: submachine guns, mid-air guns, tam-guns and ammunition. With the morale of the army we decided to defeat the enemy, the more we fought, the more enthusiastic and brave we were, to take every bit of time to fight, to steal weapons from the enemy. The battle at Ong Dua - Dinh Mon took place and ended quickly, costing many enemy forces, but our troops had little damage, resulting in the destruction of over 180 enemy soldiers, capturing 6 soldiers, injuring 50 soldiers, defeating 01 battalion, doing heavy damage to 02 battalions, collecting over 50 guns of all kinds and military equipment.

How many people sacrifice for Dinh Mon. Dinh Mon Party Committee and Vietnamese people always remember the martyrs who "committed death for the country to be born" and always respect, preserve and promote the good traditional values of the ancestors, and at the same time educational institutions for the Party Committee, the people and especially the younger generation on the tradition of "remember the source when drinking water, remember the farmer when eating the fruit". The district Party Committee and the People's Committee of Thoi Lai district assigned the District Department of Culture and Information to coordinate with the Can Tho Museum to complete the procedures for Ong Dua, recognized by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City as a City-level historical - cultural relic on May 18, 2011.
