Ong Dua Victory Historical Cultural Relic in Dinh Mon commune where the battle of Tay Do battalion took place and the guerrilla of Dinh Mon commune on June 6, 1960, Tay Do battalion had about 30 soldiers combined with guerrilla Dinh Mon commune, total army number is only less than 50, and divided into 03 units: 1001, 1003 and 1008 with simple weapons. The march was divided into 3 attacks: The first was a direct force from Ba Mit striking straight to Ong Dua. The second attacking, from Xeo Sao passes. The third attacking, from Ba Lang's canal. They are equipped with weapons: submachine guns, mid-air guns, tam-guns and ammunition. The district Party Committee and the People's Committee of Thoi Lai district assigned the District Department of Culture and Information to coordinate with the Can Tho Museum to complete the procedures for Ong Dua, recognized by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City as a City-level historical - cultural relic on May 18, 2011.
